Client Description:
Ross Baker Towing is the Official Police Garage to provide towing service in the Devonshire and Mission Divisions of Los Angeles. Their extensive fleet can handle the recovery of overturned trucks, transporting aircraft and towing luxury vehicles. They also conduct auto auctions of lien sale vehicles.
Client Objective:
Ross Baker Towing wanted a site to increase requests for their light duty, heavy duty, special equipment and recovery towing services.
The site would be seen by trucking companies who require services in the
Los Angeles area and by corporations seeking contract towing services.
The site also is intended to increase their auctions of lien sale vehicles.
The client wanted a design incorporating the purple color of their vehicles and the LAPD Official Police Garage seals for the two divisions they serve. It is rich in action packed photos like the ones above showing an actual recovery in
progress.

- Selected and formatted client's photos for maximum impact.
- Created a design to coordinate with the client image.
- Organized and drafted informative, easy to read content.
- Developed a script allowing the client to populate the auction page by posting an Excel file, rather than typing the details of 50+ cars. This saves them hours every week.
- Provided training to the client enabling them to update the site's text and photos for the auction page. Training included Frontpage, Photoshop Elements, and FTP access.
